RoRo (roll-on/roll-off) is one of the most widely used methods for shipping running vehicles from Dubai. Your vehicle is driven onto a specialised car carrier in Dubai, lashed securely on the vehicle deck and driven off at the destination port.
Because vehicles are not lifted or containerised, RoRo keeps handling to a minimum and is typically the most economical option for cars, 4x4s, pickups, trucks, buses and self-propelled machinery.
One coordinator handles your shipment from the first enquiry until the vehicle reaches the destination port. This is what happens at each stage.
Send the make, model, year, running condition, current location in the UAE and the destination country or city. Photos help us confirm the right method quickly.
We compare RoRo, container, flat rack and air freight for your vehicle and route, then send a quotation with the expected sailing or flight schedule.
We check the export documents, the owner and consignee details and any destination requirements before the booking is confirmed.
Your vehicle is collected in Dubai or received at our Ras Al Khor loading facility, where its condition is recorded before loading.
The vehicle is driven onto the RoRo vessel, lashed inside a container or secured on a flat rack, and the bill of lading is issued.
Shipping documents are shared in advance and you receive updates until arrival, so clearance at the destination can start without delay.

Every vehicle is matched to a shipping method by its type, size, running condition and destination. Use this guide to see which options we usually check first.
Sedans, hatchbacks and SUVs such as the Toyota Land Cruiser and Prado. RoRo is usually the most economical; a shared container adds enclosed protection.
Single and double cab pickups such as the Toyota Hilux, plus vans and work 4x4s. Height and length decide whether a 40ft container is possible.
High-value vehicles travel in a dedicated container or by air freight, with careful loading, soft lashing and full documentation.
Trucks, tippers, buses and minibuses usually travel by RoRo when they run, or on a flat rack when their size or condition rules out RoRo.
Excavators, loaders, forklifts, cranes and tractors, planned around their weight, dimensions and whether they can drive aboard.
Boats, trailers, motorcycles, modified and non-running vehicles are reviewed individually before the method is confirmed.
Oversized vehicles and equipment need the right loading method and lashing. We plan each shipment around the dimensions and weight of the unit.
Oversized & out-of-gauge

Import rules differ from country to country. Check the points below before purchasing a vehicle in Dubai for export.
Many countries limit vehicle age, steering side, fuel type or emissions standard. Confirm that your vehicle is eligible before you buy.
Running vehicles can travel by RoRo. Non-runners and damaged vehicles are normally shipped in a container or on a flat rack.
Length, width, height and weight determine the shipping method and the rate, especially for trucks, buses and machinery.
Customs duty, VAT and other levies are charged at the destination and vary by country, vehicle type and engine size.
Cargo insurance can be arranged for the journey. Ask our team to include it in your quotation.
For countries without a seaport, vehicles are shipped to a nearby port, with onward transport arranged where available.
